Bossypants
I finished Bossypants last night and damn if it didn’t live up to all of my expectations. Your roommate will look at you quizzically because you’re laughing out loud a lot. A LOT. And long after you’re done, the lessons and stories will still ring in your head. Needless to say, I will be rereading this. Very, very soon.
It’s hard to pick a favorite section, but one that stood out in particular was the chapter, “I don’t care if you don’t like it.” It’s equal parts insightful and hilarious on the issue of women in any workplace, and one of many - deserved - odes to women like Amy Poehler.
